What an amazing interview with Carol Wilson, captain of the 1971 Women’s World Cup Squad. Carol shares her story of representing the country at the age of 19 and leading her team out onto the Azteca stadium in Mexico with a crowd of 97,000. It has been such a pleasure to hear about her experiences playing football as a young girl and whilst serving in the RAF. A true pioneer of women’s football in England.   Click below to listen
